Step 1: Cook the Chicken

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F/75°C). Remove and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and let it reduce slightly.
  5. Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Step 3: Combine & Serve

  1. Return the chicken breasts to the pan and spoon the sauce over them.
  2. Simmer for 2 minutes to blend the flavors.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
