Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoons red pepper flakes (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Chicken:

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F/75°C). Remove and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Pour in chicken broth and let it reduce slightly.
  • Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Combine & Serve:

  • Return the chicken breasts to the pan and spoon the sauce over them.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes to blend the flavors.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
