- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (or oil)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Maple syrup and fresh fruit (for serving)
Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and sugar (if using).
Mash the Bananas & Mix Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
Add the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir well.
